Shaheen Afridi’s cryptic Instagram story has taken over the internet.
The fast pacer’s cryptic post comes days after he has been removed from the Pakistan T20 team’s captaincy.
the 29-second clip featuring a lion walking, posted on his Instagram story had a caption stating, “Never ever put me in a position where I have to show you how cruel and ruthless I can be. Don’t test my patience, because I might be the kindest and sweetest person you’ve ever met, but once I reach my limit, you’ll see me do the things that no one thought I was capable of doing.”
On March 29, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) replaced Shaheen with Babar Azam as the T20I skipper ahead of the five-match T20I series against New Zealand set to commence on April 18.
PCB in a statement said that the change in captaincy was a “strategic move” aimed at ensuring player well-being and peak performance and that the decision reflected PCB’s resolve to safeguard the longevity of the players, especially the fast bowlers.
And netizens believe fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi is furious over his removal as T20I captain.
