Bollywood successfully ruins Nazia Hassan’s iconic song ‘Aap Jaisa Koi’
Remix featuring Ayushmann Khurrana and Malaika Arora receives flak online
Bollywood has successfully ruined Nazia Hassan’s iconic song ‘Aap Jaisa Koi’, the netizens think so.
Remix featuring Ayushmann Khurrana and Malaika Arora is receiving flak online!
It seems like the Indian film industry has gone short with creative heads as we get to see remakes and remixes more often.
The latest causality fallen short of creativity is Nazia Hassan’s iconic song from the 80’s hit film Qurbani, “Aap Jaisa Koi Meri Zindagi Mein Aaye.”
The song, featuring Khurrana and Malaika Arora, dropped on Saturday, which is from upcoming film An Action Hero.
The lyrics of a new version of the song are written by Indeevar, and Tanishk Bagchi and is sung by Zahrah S Khan and Altamash Faridi.
For those unserved, Nazia Hassan at the age of 16, became the youngest and the first Pakistani-born female playback singer to win a Filmfare Award for the song Aap Jesa Koi.
The netizens once again have some strong opinions about the remix:
@tanishkbagchi and Bhushan Kumar should be jailed for life got destroying all the old nostalgic song. #AapJaisaKoi https://t.co/9UdX7MVUS3

Agree. The Bollywood remake of THE OG Nazia Hassan’s ‘Aap Jaisa Koi’ is just atrocious.
Can’t watch it, can’t hear it. WHY can’t Bollywood make its own songs? Why why! #NaziaHassan https://t.co/gm3Ii1tYby

Destroyed Nazia Hassan's masterpiece. Could have just used old version song instead of remaking it. https://t.co/NdTCYFaQ7Y
