Actor Asad Malik released on bail following brief arrest

Actor Asad Malik who was taken into custody over the possession of an automatic weapon with an expired license last night was granted bail against a surety bond of Rs50,000 on Tuesday.

Actor was detained by Airport Security Force (ASF), on Lahore airport, Monday night for carrying automated weapons, with an expired license.

According to the Airport Security Forces (ASF), the actor was traveling from Lahore to Karachi and was taken into custody after an automatic weapon was recovered from his luggage during checking before boarding the flight.

The news source also quotes that the famed actor Asad Malik has already served a jail term in a case pertaining to the murder of two persons. He is reported to have killed two people in Karachi by opening fire on a passenger bus.

Asad Malik has often been seen flaunting his firearms in various social media posts.

Few hours earlier, Asad Malik’s response appeared on his Facebook Page, claiming the media reports regarding firing at bus and murdering 2 people to be untrue.
