As FRIENDS turns 25, stars of the popular sitcom pen emotional messages
FRIENDS stars, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow, and Matt LeBlanc have penned emotional posts as they commemorate the 25th anniversary of the popular sitcom series.
The first episode of Friends was aired on September 22, 1994. And these stars became household names with the popular American Sitcom and till date, the star cast is fondly known by their characters’ names among their fans.
Recalling the series’ journey, the cast became nostalgic and penned emotional posts on social media, thanking fans and followers for their unconditional love, sharing the same image from the promo shoot.
Courteney, who played the role of Monica, took to Instagram and wrote: “Celebrating a Thursday night 25 years ago. Thank you to all of our loyal fans across the world. You’ve certainly been there for us! I love these guys.”

Lisa Kudrow, who essayed the role of lovable free spirit Phoebe Buffay in the show, says that she is still connected with her co-stars. In her Instagram post, the actress wrote, “Celebrating a Thursday night 25 years ago. We might be in different places but we are connected”.

David Schwimmer who continue to woo the audience with his role of Ross, also took to Instagram to share his thoughts as the Friends turn 25.

Matt LeBlanc who played the role of Joey Tribbiani on Friends, a role which he continued to play on the spin-off Joey until 2006. In his message on Instagram wrote, “I will be there for you.
