India has seen a drastic surge in the active number of COVID-19 cases for the past few weeks.
The Bollywood industry is also affected by the pandemic like the rest of the world. Not just the big productions are being delayed but several Bollywood stars have also contracted the virus.
Several B-Town celebrities including Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Kartik Aaryan, Paresh Rawal, Katrina Kaif, Bhumi Pednekar, among others, have also tested positive for the virus in the second wave.
The Indian state of Maharashtra remains the worst-hit region as it registered the most number of positive cases in the last couple of days.
The government has imposed strict restrictions to curb the rapid surge in COVID-19 cases.
