Folk singer Bashir Baloch passes away in Quetta
Folk singer Bashir Baloch passed away in Quetta on Sunday.
Baloch is reported to have been suffering from kidney problems.
Muhammad Raza, the son of the famous folk singer confirmed the death of his father.
Muhammad Raza said that his father will be buried in the Akhund Baba cemetery near Kali Deba this afternoon.
He was famous among music lovers across Pakistan since he could sing songs in ten languages.
The iconic Baloch folk singer had been given 132 awards, including two presidential awards, over his career.
Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Quddus Bizenjo expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Bashir Baloch.
In a condolence statement, Bizenjo prayed that may Allah bless the departed soul and give patience to the family members to bear this irreparable loss.
