Guest House famed actor Tariq Malik passes away in Rawalpindi

Renowned actor Tariq Malik famous for his character of Murad of Pakistan Television’s iconic sitcom Guest House has passed away from cardiac arrest in Rawalpindi on Thursday.

As being reported he also tested positive for COVID-19 a week ago.

Hailing from Rawalpindi, Tariq Malik was a prominent radio, stage, television, and film artist. And was among the pioneers of a one-man show in Pakistan.

He gained massive popularity from PTV Islamabad station dram Guest House that aired during  1991.

Tariq Malik is also known as Bawa Ji from Radio Pakistan’s program Jamoor Ni Awaz.

His latest venture ‘Baway Ni Chugi’ in Pothowari language, available on YouTube channel.
