As reported, the pop icon, 64, was discovered unresponsive on Saturday, June 24.

She was taken to the ICU where she was intubated overnight.

Madonna’s longtime manager, Guy Oseary, in an Instagram post, shared on Wednesday that his client had “developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several-day stay in the ICU.”

“At this time, we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour,” Oseary wrote.

“We will share more details with you as soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and for rescheduled shows.”

The singer is now believed to be out of the intensive care unit and recovering in a regular ward of the unidentified hospital.

The “Like A Virgin” hitmaker was set to kick off her highly-anticipated “Celebration” tour in Vancouver on Jul. 15.

However, the shows have now been postponed in the wake of the health emergency.

As reported, the singer’s oldest daughter, Lordes Leon, has been by her superstar mother’s bedside throughout the ordeal.
