Pakistan remembers pop icon Nazia Hassan on her 54th birthday
Pakistan’s pop icon, Nazia Hassan, breathed her last 19 years ago after battling cancer. Nazia, with her songs, gave Pakistan a global recognition. Her tracks including Disco Deewane, Dosti and Dil Ki Lagi amongst a number of other hit songs, won hearts all over and are still considered the most iconic of all times.
Nazia Hassan earned critical acclaim for her singing and went on to receive a number of awards including Filmfare and Golden Disk. She was also honored with the Pride of Performance which is the highest civil award in Pakistan.
Today, 3rd April 2019 marks Nazia Hassan’s 54th birthday. The diva, stays eternally young in our memories and Pakistan remembers its pop icon with all the respect today.
