Pakistani celebs are overwhelmed with Zulfi Bukhari’s appointment as PM’s special assistant for overseas Pakistanis

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday, 18th of September, appointed his close aide Sayed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari, known as Zulfi Bukhari, as Special Assistant on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, who has the status equivalent to Minister of State.
Pakistani celebrities are overwhelmed by this decision, by taking it to social media they have congratulated Zulfi Bukhari, being hopeful that he will bring a positive change for overseas Pakistanis.
Sanam Saeed, by taking it to social media congratulated Zulfi. In a tweet she said, “Congratulations Zulfi Bukhari. Time for the brain drain to start reversing its effects! A proud, focused, hardworking overseas Pakistani dedicated to bringing about a positive change for the nation. #change #NayaPakistan.”

Interestingly, Imran Khan’s friend and London-based property tycoon, Zulfi Bukhari was the Executive Producer of Sanam Saeed starrer, Cake the Film.

Faysal Quraishi  is thankful to the PM for appointing Zulfi Bukhari on this post. In a tweet he wrote, “We always hoped that we would get a young, dynamic & relevant minister/representative of overseas Pakistanis. Thank you PM @ImranKhanPTI for appointing @sayedzbukhari and we hope the minister will bridge the gap between OSPs and govt”.

Former cricketer Wasim Akram, congratulated Zulfi Bukhari. In a tweet, he wrote,
