Sajal Aly wins International Icon award at DIAFA 2020
Pakistan’s popular actress Sajal Aly has been awarded International Icon award by the Distinctive International Arab Festivals Awards (DIAFA) 2020 for her contribution to film and Television.
DIAFA is held annually in Dubai to honour International and Arab personalities for their achievements and contributions towards the betterment of the communities and societies.
Sajal Aly while receiving the award said: “Assalamualaikum everyone, first of all, I want to say that I am really honoured to be here with such amazing actors and amazing people. I really want to thank all my fans for believing in me. Thank you DIAFA.”
Sajal Aly also took to social media to thank for the honours, she said, “This award is special to me not just as an artist, but as a proud Pakistani. Thank you #DIAFA and thank you Dubai for honouring artists from around the world.”
