Suresh Raina, singer Guru Randhawa, Susanne Roshan Khan booked for violating COVID-19 protocols in Mumbai

Former India cricketer Suresh Raina, singer Guru Randhawa, and Bollywood celebrity Susanne Roshan Khan, have been booked for violating Covid-19 protocols in Mumbai.
These three celebrities were among 34 people who were arrested from Mumbai’s Dragonfly club near the Mumbai airport for flouting Covid-19 norms.
However, these celebrities were later released on a bail.
As being reported, the Mumbai police raided an early morning party at the Dragonfly Pub in JW Marriott and arrested 34 people, including hotel staff, for violating the Covid-19 pandemic prohibitory regulations forced by the Maharashtra government.
The 34 people arrested are reported to be booked under Section 188 of the IPC under the Disaster Management Act and Bombay Police Act.
Former India cricketer Suresh Raina has stated that he was unaware of local timings and protocols.
“Suresh was in Mumbai for a shoot which extended to late hours and was invited by a friend for a quick dinner post the same prior to him taking his flight back to Delhi (sic),” a statement from Raina’s management company said.
“He was not aware of the local timings and protocols. Once pointed out, he immediately complied with the procedures laid out by the authorities and regrets the unfortunate and unintentional incident,” the statement added.
