Veteran actor Khalid Butt passed away in Lahore on Thursday.
The actor had been battling kidney and liver issues lately.
His funeral will be held on Friday after Asar’s prayers.
The drama serial ‘Khaie’, became his last acting venture as Durab Khan, which is currently on air on Geo Entertainment TV.
Actor Khalid Butt started his career in the field of acting in the 1970s.
In an extensive career spanning over 4 decades, Khalid Butt has appeared in a large number of Urdu and Punjabi films, television series and theatre.
He also worked as an assistant director and also directed a film.
He has also been awarded the Pride of Performance for his artistic services.
His notable drama serials include “Teesra Kinara” “Neelay Hath,” and “Boota From Toba Tek Singh.”
The news of Khalid Butt’s demise was shared by veteran actor Mohsin Gillani on his Instagram account.
