Why Did Kate Middleton and Prince Harry’s Relationship Get Sour?

Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, who was once dubbed as “big sister that I never had” by Duke of Sussex Prince Harry, does not seem to share the bond with her brother in law anymore. While there’s a lot of speculation on what went wrong between two, the reality is yet to surface.

In contrast to the common belief that the fab four Kate, William, Harry and Meghan parted ways after Harry wedded Meghan last May, it is reported that the relationship between Harry and his older brother had gotten rough long before he wedded his love.

Reportedly, a few months before Harry and Meghan’s wedding, the Duke of Sussex had a showdown with his older brother and sister in law. He alleged that they were not welcoming his bride to be and reportedly had a whole speech prepared to voice his displease over his brother and Kate’s lack of warmth towards Meghan. It is said that Meghan was also present at the occasion and maintained a stoney silence as his fiance lashed out at the Cambridges.

Albeit that Kate and William tried to clarify their position to Harry and reassured him of their support for Meghan and his wedding, the Duke of Sussex had gotten a sour heart.

As the world later saw, Harry soon after marrying Meghan moved out from Buckingham palace, parted his royal charity from the Cambridges to set up his own, and the latest blow came as Meghan – in her guest editorial Vogue issue – did not include Kate amongst the influential women she apparently is inspired from.

While it is unclear how Harry started feeling distrust over his brother and his wife – both of whom he clearly adored earlier – it is indeed a sad state of affair to see the fab four not being a phenomenon anymore. From the looks of it, the Sussexes and the Cambridges have a very different path in life now.
