Bandish S2 Episode-8 Review: Farhana starts bearing the consequences of her black magic practices

Rabail's boss wants to marry her

Ary Digital’s drama serial Bandish Season 2 is more like a family drama not having enough spooky elements. Performances are brilliant as usual but it is the horror element that is missing. In the previous episode, we have seen black magic working and Sameer’s factory catches fire. In this episode, it is shown that Rabahl’s boss wants to marry her but Taimor also comes back into her life.

It is shown that Farhana is also bearing the consequences of her black magic practices. She sees a dead crow on her bed twice and when she discusses that with the necromancer he is of the view that these are the signs that she is getting strength and power in her black magic practices.

The necromancer further assigns her a task in an abandoned castle. Farhana has no choice but to agree with what he asks her to do. Her son Arman is also with her in all her devilish activities. He hates Sameer and his family too, but being an educated man he should have stopped his mother from stopping so low but we see that he is supporting her in all her deadliest plans. He even told her about Rabail’s involvement with her boss.

Rabail has altogether forgotten her first love her fiance which seems so strange how can she move on so smoothly and rapidly? She has been involved with her boss, and instead of staying within her limits, she behaves like a crumby girl. We are not sure of Boss’s intentions for Rabail. However, he proposes to her and Rabail seems happy. Rabail gets shocked to see Taimor and his mother back. Taimor’s mother is excusing a lot for her behavior over and over. Rabail is not ready to forgive them because all she had in her mind now is her boss. However, Rabahl’s family is happy to see Taimor’s mother excusing her past conduct.

Sameer’s character is not well written nor he is making any sense at all. Waniya has been called to Horrain ‘s school where she is told by her school teacher that she writes foreign scripts in her copies and her behavior is very strange, she keeps talking saying that she is talking with her doll. By the way, very pathetic dialogue delivery by that school teacher she cannot even pronounce words correctly. Poor Waniya tries her best to convince Sameer that their daughter has a problem but Sameer behaves very strangely he is not ready to listen to her. His arrogance is not making any sense. No spooky vibes in this episode.
