Bandish 2 Episode-21 Review: Humaira’s sufferings seem never ending
Humaira may end up going to the same necromancer to seek his help
Bandish 2, the ARY Digital drama serial after 21 episodes, seems more like a family drama missing the horror element, In the previous episode, we saw that Humaira’s trials and tests seem never-ending as through black magic practices Farhana has demeaned her position in front of Sameer. In this episode, Sameer leaves his mother’s house.
Sameer is out of his mind, he gets mad at his mother for beating Hoorain. Humaira is shocked to see this side of Sameer and also she is shocked because she has not even touched Hoorain she has only scolded her for tearing up her late dear husband’s diary. Humaira is broken to see Sameer throwing his father’s diary on the floor saying that it is not greater than his daughter.
Humaira mentions Waniya’s practice of burning amulets, Humaira and Minahil are surprised when Sameer says that yes she does that with his permission. Humaira is shocked to hear that she is in a state of denial. The following scene has created more troubles for Humaira. The maid makes tea she is going to give to Waniya when Humaira says she will do it herself and she assigns her another chore. Well, she must have handed the cup to Waniya herself but she placed it on the devan at her living room.
Waniya’s condition gets worse and she is hospitalized where her reports tell that she has been heavily poisoned. Hoorain is being too possessed she suggests to her father that Dadi has put that mouse-killing medicine in her tea. Sameer has lost his cool he tells her mother he cannot stand her anymore. He blames her mother for poisoning Waniya. Humaira is shocked to hear that. She has lost her son and his trust she keeps begging them not to go but they have left.
Humaira’s condition is not good she is crying badly. Minahil, Armaan, and Farhana are at her side but Humaira has no idea that Farhana is the one who is the enemy of her happiness. Minahil following the footsteps of Rabail lies with her mother and gets a job. Rabail on the other hand is facing troubles because of Irsa Bhabi. Farhana suggests Humaira to go with her to Baba Jee the same necromancer who has ruined her. The irony is that Humaira will end up going there seeking his help as a spiritual baba when he is the one who is doing all the black magic on her. Interesting buildup!
