Jhok Sarkar Episode-21 Review: Peeral kills Mukhtar through his man in jail

Hum TV drama serial Jhok Sarkar is down with 21 episodes, the serial is going strong with some solid performances. Farhan Saeed is nailing his character as dutiful and honest ASP Arsalaan. Asif Raza Mir and Usman Javed as Peeral and Meeral and Malik Raza have also done an impressive job performing the role of a helpless police officer Jahandaad. In the previous episode, we have seen that ASP Arsalan survives the assassination attempt. In this episode, it is shown that Peeral kills Mukhtar through his man in jail in ASP Arsalan’s absence.

ASP Arsalan survives the assassination attempt in the previous episode, his superior officer is offering him to make his transfer somewhere else but the dutiful ASP Arsalan is resolute that he will have to complete his mission in Jhok Siyal and he requests his superior to let him complete. He gets the permission. ASP Arsalan is enjoying his sister’s nikkah ceremony and he seems happy.

Peeral and Meeral both are planning how to get rid of Mukhatar and how to teach ASP Arsalan a lesson. Peeral calls his special man a Mashiqi (the one who waters plants) he works in Shor Kot jail as well. He orders him to kill Mukhtar in the jail. He kills Mukhtar in jail by poisoning his pitcher of water in his cell. Mukhtar drinks the water and dies on the spot.

Peeral has been snubbed by the Jirga of his Biradari, the elders of Sardari Behgum and Zulekha both questioned Peeral for marrying a low-caste girl but Peeral remains unmoved he says it is his personal matter and he does not want anyone to interfere in his personal matters. Peeral also gives a final notice to his wives telling them that if they ever thought of harming Noori they will have to pay a hefty price. Meeral is after Sassi he has all wrong intentions towards her.

ASP Arsalan upon reaching Jhok Siyaal gets the news of Mukhtar’s sudden death in the jail. ASP Arsalan is highly disappointed by the news of Mukhtar’s murder and that too happening in the vicinity of the jail. ASP Arsalan orders for the post-modem of the dead body. Police officer Ramazan tells him that Mukhtar was ready to record his statement and he has unofficially given his statement as well. On ASP Arsalan’s inquiry, he gets to know that only Mashiqi got into the jail he sends officers to get him but they find that Mashiqi has gone somewhere his house is locked.
