Jhok Sarkar Episode-7 Review: ASP Arsalan and Sassi’s first encounter is not a pleasant one
How will ASP Arsalan save his position in Jhok Sial when Peeral and Meeral both have gone against him?
Hum TV drama serial Jhok Sarkar is one of the best in the running, indeed our favorite primetime watch. Farhan Saeed as ASP Arsalan is a treat to watch, what a solid performance and a pleasant appearance on screen. In the previous episode, we saw ASP Arsalan in action in Jhok Sial. In this episode, it is shown that ASP Arsalan unintentionally kills Jeevan in the police encounter.
As we have seen in the previous episode ASP Arsalan is in action in Jhok Sial. He takes action against human trafficking practices in Jhok Sial which we later come to know that Meeral has a hand in that too. Jeevan, Sassi’s brother who is working for Meeral accidentally gets killed by ASP Arsalan shot. The way his body reached Saasi’s house and she receives her brother is so heart-wrenching and there she comes to know that Jeevan is killed by the Police.
ASP Arsalan the very next day feels extremely guilty particularly when he finds out that Jeevan has no such criminal track record and also he gets shocked to know that Jeevan is the son of the retired school headmaster he met the other day. Arsalan’s guilt is intensified he wants to meet the school headmaster and wants to pay his condolences. Arsalan’s subordinate tries to make him aware of the strong reaction that might come from Jeevan’s family.
ASP Arsalan is resolute that he will pay his visit to Jeevan’s house without a uniform. He goes to the school headmaster and pays his condolences. Poor schoolmaster does not say anything to him although people are murmuring their reservation on his arrival. Saasi comes when he hears of his arrival and there she shows her strongest reaction by slapping hard on his face and then cursing him. Arsalan is expecting this sort of reaction so he remains calm.
Peeral and Noori’s only scene in the play is again a solid scene where Peeral offers Saasi a monthly grant on which Noori said they have lost their son not ghairat. Peeral calls ASP Arsalan and he is using his influence to tarnish ASP Arsalan’s position in front of his superior. ASP Arsalan stays calm and instead, he starts investigating Meeral’s men. Meeral loses his cool and it seems that Meeral is now an open rival of ASP Arsalan. How will ASP Arsalan save his position in Jhok Sial when Peeral and Meeral both have gone against him?
