Neem Episode-7 Review: Zimmal cannot experience motherhood

Neem the drama serial airing at Hum TV is one solid play if we just could have toned down Zimmal’s preachy dialogues. They are too heavy to digest. Syed Jibran and Ameer Gillani’s performances are very impressive. Mawra is good but it is not something new she is doing, she already has played Anaya’s character in Sabaat which is quite similar to Zimmal’s. In this episode, we get to know the tragic news that Zimmal cannot become a mother.

Zimmal sees a teacher being rude to their students and there she gets to know about Mariyam through a colleague that the girl is passing through a rough patch in her life, otherwise, she used to be a dedicated teacher. Zimmal is resolute to convince Mariyam to change her attitude through her over-preachy dialogues, and Mariyam gets inspired. Mariyam also agrees to work as a volunteer for Zimmal’s street project.

Ashaad is working in America and it seems that he is smoothly adjusting to that state without facing much hard time. He gets a haircut and looks like a hunk. Ashaad still cannot get Zimmal out of his mind but in front of his roommate, he never accepts the fact that he has been ever in love. He gets another job and it seems that his mother is having some serious medical issues.

Karamat Khan too is facing serious health challenges but it has not changed or melted his heart. He is the same proud and arrogant Karamat Khan who is self-centered and only thinks about himself. He has built a very magnificent mansion but he is not ready to move on with that house with his wife and daughter. He snubs his wife really hard when she expresses her wish to move on into the new house. He taunts her for not being able to give her a second child or a son.

It has shown that some time has been passed let say a few months. Shizal’s expecting bhabi has delivered a very cute little baby boy. Shizal’s brother and wife are the comic relief in this serial. Zimmal is so happy with the kids. Shizal’s bhabi insists Zimmal conduct a fertility test as according to her she should have conceived by now. Zimmal conducts that test, and the very next day the doctor who is a good friend of Bhabi calls her and shares that Zimmal can never become a mother with her. Bhabi keeps that news to herself. Well, the irony is that Karamat Khan desires Zimmal because he wants a son from her.
