Game of Thrones Season 8 to premiere on April 14
The winter is coming! The premiere date for the much anticipated HBO series has been finally announced. The final season of award-winning series, from now on, is only 90 days away.
The announcement was made via a short teaser trailer which was released just ahead of the “True Detective” Season 3 which premiered on HBO on Sunday.

The teaser shows the underground crypt of Winterfell, with Sansa, Arya and Jon Snow who walk through the cave tunnel, passing by the statues of Catelyn Stark and Eddard “Ned” Stark. And when they stop walking they are standing in front of their own statues.
Voices can be heard as Jon Snow walk across the tunnel, and as the three of them stop in front of their own statues there is frost approaching through the tunnels and Jon Snow draws out his sword.
These are the first ever details we get to see for the final season which will be making its premiere in April. Have the Whitewalkers arrived in Westeros not clear yet, but the statues in the cave hints at the Stark siblings could meet up with their end!
