Ryan Reynolds Treats World’s Oldest 21-Year Old with First Legal Drink
Meet Arlene Manko who is 84-years old and has seven children, but in essence, she just had her 21st birthday and Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds celebrated it for her.
“Thirty thousand six hundred seventy-nine days, I’ve waited to turn 21,” says Manko in the hilarious new commercial of Ryan’s liquor brand Aviation Gin.
“We wanted her first legal drink to be Aviation Gin,” Ryan equips from the voice over.
Born on February 29, 1936, Manko was a leap day baby and while she has aged quite a lot, it’s still her first legal drink as she celebrated her 21st birthday – the legal drinking age in the US.
The hilarious commercial features Manko who’s not an actor, and Ryan in the background as she sips Aviation Gin’s liquor alongside a birthday cake. ‘Holy Moses’ is what Manko has to say as she sips the drink for the first time ‘legally’.
To further make things interesting, Ryan’s brand has announced that anyone who was born on February 29, 1936, and turned 21 this leap year can claim a free drink from Aviation Gin.
