Though the selection of Karachi-born Erica Robin in the controversial Miss Universal title has been making headlines for the past few months, the model made it to the top 20 finalists of the annual beauty pageant.

The 72nd edition of the annual pageant hosted by El Salvador, saw a 24-year-old model secure a position among the top 20 contestants out of over 80 participating countries.
However, Erica Robin did not advance to the top 10.
But her accomplishments lately buzzing over social media. She is lauded for respecting the country’s culture on an international platform.
