Karan Johar all set to ascend to the throne as he reveals storyline & cast of upcoming film “Takht”
Bollywood’s one of the A-list filmmaker, producer and television personality, Karan Johar is returning to direction after a hiatus of two years with his new film “Takht”, which is going to be a period drama reported to be set in Mughal times. He took to social media making revelation about the story line, as KJo wrote, “An incredible story embedded in history…An epic battle for the majestic Mughal throne…a story of a family, of ambition, of greed, of betrayal, of love & of succession… Takht is about war for love.”

Johar’s Dharma Productions will be producing this film, which had two recent back-to-back hits with “Raazi” and “Dhadak”. The film is reported to be scheduled for a 2020 release, Takht’s screenplay is written by Sumit Roy and the dialogues of the film are written by Hussain Haidry.
