Ahmed Ali Akbar, Mansha Pasha starrer Laal Kabootar to release in Australia
One of Pakistan’s recent and yet most acclaimed crime thriller, Laal Kabootar, is all set to make an international debut after having made a mark on Pakistani cinema. After successfully impressing critics and audience alike in home country, Laal Kabootar will now be releasing in Australia on 16th June 2019.
Laal Kabootar stars Ahmed Ali Akbar as a taxi driver and Mansha Pasha as Alia seeking Ahmed’s help for a matter. Laal Kabootar isn’t your average feel good film. Its no comic, not romance and not action entirely. Its a crime thriller and it delivers the right amount of intrigue and raw thrill, right from the word Go.
Laal Kabootar was declared a critical success on the box office after its release. The film brought about some powerful performances, never seen before in Pakistani cinema. Yet, the film did not manage to earn big monies compared to its rival, Sherdil, that released on the same date.
A low budget film in itself, Laal Kabootar, did however, turn out to be profitable for its makers and an excellent entertainer for the masses. The film, now releasing in Australia will definitely bring in some more good monies for team Laal Kabootar back in Pakistan.
