“You haven’t watched such story in Pakistani cinema yet,” says director Nabeel Qureshi about Load Wedding

It’s only been a day since the official trailer for the Bari Eid Ki Bari Film “Load Wedding” came out and seriously we all are hooked up with it. The brief glimpse provided by the filmmakers is heartwarming. Here at OY we have been lucky to catch-up with the creative person behind the camera of this film, Nabeel Qureshi the director and co-writer of  Load Wedding.

By the time a film releases we all know about the cast and crew of the film but there are always certain details that remain to be revealed, tells Nabeel Qureshi while talking to OY, “For that you have to come to the theater and watch the whole movie. We have worked pretty hard to create a master piece and I am sure you all will love it. The film is shot entirely in Pakistan; we have considered every possible detail for Load Wedding.”

While talking about the massive response to the trailer, Nabeel added, “I am glad that you have like the trailer, but all I can say is that there still exist a surprise element, things won’t be like that as they look in the trailer, but you will like it, however it turns out.”

Talking about the character of Fahad Mustafa, Nabeel Qureshi shared “He is such a hard working actor, this role was pretty challenging for him but he has done a great job.”

“Mehwish Hayat is playing a totally desi character for the first time in film, it’s my third film with her and she is such a brilliant actor, you all will surely like it”, shared Nabeel Qureshi.

There were speculations about Mohsin Abbas Haider being involved in a potential capacity with Load Wedding. Nabeel Qureshi confirms how Abbas has sung a song and written lyrics for Load Wedding. “People will love the music of the film also, it is different and hopefully there are plans for releasing the music soon, possibly right after elections. And there is not going to be any item number or violence in this film either.”

Adding a bit about the story line, Nabeel mentions, “It is a simple yet very touching story. The story line will proceed with many things which are relatable for many and very close to the reality. It is a family film that you will enjoy watching altogether with your family”.

“Load Wedding is a different film with a different genre. This film is different in a sense that you haven’t watch such story in Pakistani cinema yet.”
