Malaika Arora returns to the big screen with another item number
Celebrity Malaika Arora returns to silver screen after three years with another item number song for upcoming film “Pataakha”, slated to release on September 28. After releasing a teaser, the complete song has been released today, featuring Malaika dancing on another desi tune.
According to media reports Vishal Bhardwaj has roped in Malaika Arora for a special appearance in his upcoming comedy-drama Pataakha. The story of the film which revolves around two sisters from a small village in Rajasthan. The song in question “Hello Hello”, is set into tune by Vishal and sang by his singer-wife Rekha. The song which has references to phone calls, WhatsApp and social networking, it is written none other than Gulzar Sahab and Ganesh Acharya has choreographed it.
Picturized in a village mela, the song seems to be a part of the film’s narrative as it shows the two sisters Badki and Chhutki with their love interests.
Having a look at the song, it fails to impress. The similar moves like previous item numbers which Malaika has performed in “Muni Badnam hoi”. And the same kind of resemblance with the desi avatar she has previously put. It’s just been few hours since the song came out, let’s see how people respond to it.
