Travis Scott’s concert in Rome has left dozens injured!

As reported, around 60 individuals required medical attention following American rapper Travis Scott’s Rome’s historic Circus Maximus on August 7.

The 32-year-old rapper opened his Utopia tour at the Italian capital’s monumental site — once the Roman Empire’s chariot racecourse — attracting a crowd of around 60,000 eager fans.

Travis Scott surprised fans during his gig at the Circus Maximus when he brought out Kanye West on the stage.

But things went out of control after a suspected pepper spray incident, leaving dozens of fans injured and around 60 people in need of medical treatment.

A 14-year-old was also hospitalized after falling from a four-meter height. He had tried to enter the Circus Maximus to watch the show and had attempted to elude security.

Following the injuries, Italian authorities have initiated an investigation into the matter.

The incident has also stirred significant controversy, creating an “earthquake”-like effect throughout the city, according to certain public figures.

Meanwhile, the director of the Colosseum archaeological park expressed a negative view of rock concerts in the aftermath of the disturbance.

“We will judge rock concerts negatively,” stated the director of the Colosseum archaeological park.

This is not the first time that Scott’s concert has resulted in a tragedy.

Back in November 2021, his concert at the Astroworld Festival in his native Houston, Texas, led to a crowd rush left 10 people dead and dozens others injured.
