Another price shock of Rs17.50 per liter increase in petrol price and Rs20 per liter in high-speed diesel hit citizens on the eve of Aug 16.

The interim government has announced an increase in prices of petroleum products by up to Rs20 per liter amid a rise in global oil rates.

After the hike, petrol will be available at Rs290.45 per liter and HSD at Rs293.40 per liter.

Life will become harder for the majority of Pakistanis, irrespective of who is in power.
