One killed, several injured in a blast near Kandahari Bazaar in Quetta

One person was killed and several injured in a blast in Quetta on Saturday evening.

At least seven others were injured in an explosion near Bukhari Center in the Kandahari Bazaar, at Quetta’s Fatima Jinnah Road.

The blast also damaged several vehicles and nearby buildings.

According to rescue officials, rescue teams reached the spot and the injured were being shifted to a nearby hospital.

Police say a bomb disposal squad is also arrived at the spot and is investigating the nature of the blast.

According to preliminary information, the explosives were planted on a motorcycle.
