Fake news is circulating on social media about South City Hospital Karachi, Imtiaz Super Market, and Chase Up staff being affected with COVID-19 in Karachi.
Beware of such fake news and misleading messages circulating during these difficult COVID-19 times, all thanks to social media.
It is advised to all the citizens to rely only on the credible source and not on forwarded messages that are creating panic in the society.
It was a day ago when the message started to circulate on social media stating that a private hospital in Karachi got his 51 employees tested positive for COVID-19, and also a shopping mall chain however that was not the case.

On receiving this, South City Hospital administration was approached by our reporter, and the admin has categorically denied any such news.

The official Instagram of Imtiaz Super Store chain has also refuted such rumours and has posted an official statement.
Meanwhile, the Chase Up store has also released an official statement refuting the fake news. The statement was shared on company’s official Instagram page with a caption, “Safety our beloved customers and dedicated employees comes first and is our top priority! We wish for your good health & safety! #Chaseup #YourShoppingPartner #ImportantAnnouncement”.
