Fawad Chaudhry gets bail in sedition case
Fawad Chaudhry was granted bail in a sedition case on Wednesday.
As reported, a court in Islamabad on Thursday approved the bail of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Fawad Chaudhry in the sedition case registered against him.
The hearing on the post-arrest bail application filed by Fawad Chaudhry in the case related to spreading hatred against the Election Commission was held in the local court of Islamabad.
During the hearing, the investigating officer presented the record of the case in the court while his lawyer Babar Awan appeared in court on behalf of Fawad Chaudhry.
After hearing the arguments of the parties, Additional Sessions Judge Faizan Gilani granted Fawad Chaudhry’s post-arrest bail application and ordered him to submit a surety bond of 20,000.
