PTV has been under the radar for airing a foreign content that gained massive popularity in Pakistan. Many had been pointing at PTV for not being able to come up with something original despite having a long history of producing internationally acclaimed dramas.
Federal Minister for Science and technology Fawad Chaudhry is recent to share his comments over PTV’s recent effort of aring a foreign drama series dubbed in Urdu for the local audience.
“Surprised on @PTVHomeOfficial taking pride in other countries productions, you guys must focus on Pak productions otherwise foreign dramas ll ruin Pak productions, its always cheap to import foreign dramas but this ll have devastating long term effect on our own programming”, he wrote.

Fawad Chaudhry’s opinion as an ex-Information minister was not received well by many Pakistani’s who are enjoying this foreign series:
You keep to your Ministry please. British Parliamentary SYSTEM is very clear. Each Minister stays within his own domain & addresses matters relating to his own Ministry.— Khurram Nawaz Gandapur (@GandapurPAT) May 31, 2020

But now everyone has a problem because we are getting to know about Islamic values and teachings. No thank you, your comments aren't welcome Mr Chaudhry.
