FBR takes notice of the Big Fat Pakistani Wedding, sends notices to Master Tiles and Jalal Sons

It’s been almost a week when the historic BIG FAT Pakistani Wedding events took social media by storm.

As being reported the wedding ceremony spanning over a week-long functions cost an estimated amount of Rs 230 crore.

However, it has been learned that the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has taken notice of the extravagant wedding of the daughter of a prominent Gujranwala industrialist after the videos of wedding functions went viral on social media.



As per media reports, the FBR has issued notices to industrialist Sheikh Mehmood Iqbal of Master Tiles and sought clarification on payments made to singers Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam, who performed at the event.

The FBR has issued notice to industrialist Sheikh Mahmood Iqbal seeking a reply by November 16. According to the Federal Board of Revenue, the wedding took place in Lahore from November 5 to 7.
