Former footballer Shumaila Sattar has been sent to jail in connection with the 9 May Jinnah House attack!

Shumaila Sattar, the former goalkeeper of the national women’s team was arrested after being identified through geo-fencing.

The police raided Shumaila Sattar’s house in Lahore after her name was revealed in an investigation.

Meanwhile, further investigation is underway with the help of the cameras installed outside Jinnah House.

As reported, the Punjab Home Department constituted five different joint investigation teams (JITs) to conduct an investigation into the arson on the Corp Commander House in Lahore, also known as the Jinnah House, as well as the attack on Askari Tower on May 9.

Several politicians, activists, and members of the former ruling party including the son-in-law of a former army officer, and fashion designer Khadija Shah are facing trial in an anti-terrorism court in the wake of the May 9 attacks.
