Gen Sahar Shamshad Mirza’s video went viral on social media showing him paying tributes to teachers.

The recently appointed Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza can be seen holding a meeting with his teachers at Model College Islamabad where where he paid a tribute to them for their role in his success.

“Apart from education, you have trained us and because of that, we are where we are. We are indebted to you and we are grateful to you. There are no words that can reciprocate what you have done for us,” General Sahir Shamshad Mirza said.

He added that we were children then but we miss you even today the dictation and writing, I still show this to my children, I did not let my two children go to Beacon House, they study in Army Public School and I myself am a product of Islamabad Model School and Islamabad College of Boys.

General Sahir Shamshad added that 8 to 9 generals are serving from this school and 10 to 12 generals have also retired now reached that position, we have no words to thank you.

It should be noted that Sahir Shamshad Mirza has recently been promoted to the rank of four-star general and appointed as Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee.

He will take charge of his post on November 27.
