Govt announces significant reduction in petrol and diesel prices
The federal government on Friday night announced a significant reduction in petrol and diesel prices.
Prices of petroleum products were reduced.
According to the sources, the petrol price has been slashed by Rs 14 per litre while the diesel price has been reduced by Rs 13.50 per litre.
Meanwhile, the price of kerosene oil has been reduced by Rs 10.14 per litre and the price of light diesel oil has been reduced by Rs11.29.
The prices of petroleum products will be applied from midnight Dec 16.
The new prices of Petroleum Products for the fortnight starting from 16th December 2023, as recommended by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) were issued by the Ministery of Finance.
