ICC World Cup trophy arrives in Pakistan

The International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup trophy has arrived in Pakistan early on Thursday on the international leg of the Trophy Tour.

The trophy lifted by Pakistan Captain Sarfraz Ahmed arrived in Islamabad this morning. It will be on display for the public at various spots in Pakistan during the next four days.

As part of the international leg of the trophy tour, the world cup trophy will visit three cities Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi on its journey across Pakistan.

On its first stop, it arrived in Islamabad today and it would be displayed to cricket lovers on 12th April.

The trophy will be put on display on 13th April in Lahore, and its last destination will be Karachi on April 14.

The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup is scheduled to be held in England from 30th May to July 14th.

The first match of the World Cup to be played between Australia and South Africa.

The much-awaited encounter of the tournament between Pakistan and India is scheduled to be played on June 16th.
