Maryam Nawaz leaves for Saudi Arabia

The PML-N chief organiser will return home on April 26 after performing Umrah.

Maryam Nawaz left for Saudi Arabia in the wee hours of Tuesday.

She has been accompanied by her family members including her husband Captain (retd) Safdar, her two daughters Mahnoor and Mehrunissa, her son Junaid, her daughter-in-law Ayesha Saif, as well as Dr Adnan, Chaudhry Munir, Raheel Munir, Sheikh Asif, and Mirza Javed.

As reported earlier, the Sharif family is expected to spend the last ten days of Ramazan in Mecca and Madina and celebrate Eidul Fitr in Saudi Arabia.

As reported, Maryam Nawaz left for Jeddah from Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport at 2:30 pm on Saudi Airlines flight No SV-739.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz senior vice president, taking to Twitter, shared the photo taken at the airport with the caption, “Allah Hafiz”.

Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif will also arrive in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday from London.

King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud had invited both Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to perform Umrah as royal guests.

As reported, the Nawaz family will be special guests of the royal family in Saudi Arabia where they will also hold meetings with the Saudi royal leadership.
