Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s motorcade attacked in DI Khan

Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s motorcade came under attack in DI Khan on Sunday evening.

According to the news source, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s convoy was fired upon from multiple sides near the Ziarak interchange in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Dera Ismail Khan.

JUI-F’s spokesperson Mufti Abrar confirmed the attack and informed that Maulana Fazal ur Rehman remained unharmed in the firing incident.

The incident occurred a day after the interior ministry warned of serious threats to the lives of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl emir Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Awami National Party provincial president Aimal Wali Khan.
