Mehbooba Mufti on Pervez Musharraf’s demise: “Only Pak general who who genuinely tried to address the Kashmir issue”

Mehbooba Mufti, the last Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, extended condolences on Pervez Musharraf’s demise.
Sharing her thoughts in a tweet, Mufti said, “Perhaps the only Pakistani General who genuinely tried to address the Kashmir issue. He wanted a solution according to the wishes of the people of J&K & acceptable to India & Pak. Though GOI has reversed all CBMs initiated by him & Vajpayee ji, the ceasefire remains.”

Mehbooba Mufti served as the 9th and last Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir from 4 April 2016 to 19 June 2018.
She was also the first Female CM of the Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
It should be noted that former President General (retd) Pervez Musharraf passed away in Dubai on Feb 5. He was under treatment at the American Hospital in Dubai for a long time.
