Bad news for the web series sacred Games fans. #MeToo effects Sacred Games, there might be no Season 2!
The popular Netflix original series Sacred Games recently announced its season 2. But it seems to be in jeopardy after the news came out that Varun Grover, the co-writer of the series, has been accused of sexual harassment.
Netflix has a very strict policy against sexual harassment and this might effect the new season. Amid speculations regarding the show’s future, Netflix said in a statement, “At this time we are evaluating options on the path forward.”
Stand-up comedian and writer, Varun Grover, best known for writing the critically-acclaimed 2015 film Masaan, which starred Vicky Kaushal, has thoroughly denied all such allegations.
“I completely, totally, categorically deny all the allegations being made. The screenshot in question is untrue, misleading, and defamatory to say the least. Issuing a detailed statement soon,” he tweeted.
