Eid or Roza? Keyboard warriors spring into action over the delayed announcement of the Shawaal moon sighting.
The whole nation kept waiting till 11:30 pm on Wednesday night to hear the official announcement by the Ruet e Hilal committee that the Shawwal moon has been sighted.
Meanwhile, Mufti Shahabuddin Popalzai, who heads the local unofficial moon-sighting committee at Peshawar’s historic Qasim Ali Khan Mosque, announced that Eid in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be celebrated tomorrow.
