Pakistan reports 141 Covid-19 related deaths, the highest in nearly four months!
The country on Wednesday has reported the highest number of deaths since May 3.
Pakistan’s battle with the fourth wave continues as the active number of cases has increased to 91,204.
According to the latest statistics released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 61,410 tests were conducted during the past 24 hours resulting in 4,199 positive cases.

While there are 5,586 critical cases of which 73 patients’ health have deteriorated.
The NCOC data also reveals that 3,915 infected people have recovered in the past 24 hours, taking the nationwide recoveries tally to 1,019,434.
Region-wise breakdown of Covid-19 cases and deaths reported during the last 24 hours:
- Sindh: 1,721 cases, 86 deaths
- Punjab: 1,410 cases, 28 deaths
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 522 cases, 20 deaths
- Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 222 cases, 1 death
- Islamabad: 209 cases, 3 deaths
- Balochistan: 63 cases, 2 deaths
- Gilgit-Baltistan: 52 cases, 1 death
