Pakistan successfully conducts flight test of Shaheen III ballistic missile

Pakistan on Wednesday has successfully conducted a flight test of the Shaheen III ballistic missile.

The surface to surface ballistic missile with a range of 2,750 kilometers, effectively marked the target.

Announcing the development,  Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Major General Babar Iftikhar in a tweet said, “Pakistan conducted successful flight test of #Shaheen-3 surface 2 surface ballistic missile, having a range of 2750 Kms. Flt test aimed @ revalidating various design & tech parameters of the weapon system. President, PM, CJCSC & Services Chiefs have congratulated scientists & engineers.”

The successful flight test, with its impact point in the Arabian Sea, was witnessed by Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Nadeem Raza, Director General Strategic Plans Division, Commander Army Strategic Forces Command, Chairman NESCOM, and the scientists and engineers involved said he military’s media wing ISPR.

President Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Imran Khan, CJCSC, and the Service Chiefs have congratulated the scientists and engineers on successfully conducting the missile test, ISPR added.
