Paulo Coelho urges people to send books to Balochistan
Paulo Coelho, the acclaimed Brazilian lyricist, and novelist, best known for his work The Alchemist, is urging people to send books to Balochistan.
It was on Monday when Coelho in a tweet said, ” ‘Send books to Balochistan, they’re building reading rooms’, while sharing a Samaa Tv news story from Pakistan.

This latest development comes as the Local community members in the province have initiated one-room libraries in different parts of Balochistan including Naal, Wadh, Awaran, Quetta, Kohlu, Turbat and Gwadar in an effort to make reading material more accessible for the youth.

As being reported, a number of students from different universities in Wadh, Balochistan have developed a Wadh student library committee and collectively they are transforming many abandoned spaces into small libraries and reading corners.
