PM Imran Khan meets Trump’s daughter Ivanka on WEF sidelines

Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan on Wednesday met with the Senior White House Adviser and daughter of US President Donald Trump, in the Alpine city of Davos on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum 2020.

The prime minister met with Ivanka along with his adviser on overseas Pakistanis, Syed Zulfikar Bokhari. The Pictures of the informal meeting surfaced showing Ivanka and the PM Khan smiling as the two shared a lighted hearted moment.

It is noteworthy here that PM Khan met Trump’s daughter for the first time. Ivanka has previously expressed her wish to work towards empowering Pakistani women to help them play a vital role for the country’s progress.

Last year, in a meeting with Zulfi Bukhari in Washington DC, Ivanka had shown keen interest in launching various programmes for the women empowerment in Pakistan.

Bukhari had thanked Ivanka for her interest and also extended an invitation to her to visit Pakistan.
