On Friday, students blocked access to Paris’ prestigious Sciences Po university over the war in Gaza, demanding the institution condemn Israel’s actions, in a protest that echoed similar demonstrations on US campuses.
It should be noted that demonstrations in support of the Palestinians are ongoing in many universities across the United States.
Dozens of students have also been arrested and the administration of some universities are also using force to end the pro-Palestinian protests on the campuses.
At least 34,356 Palestinians have been martyred and 77,368 others injured as Israel continues its military aggression in Gaza since October 7 last year, the Gaza health ministry confirmed on Friday.
