PTI’s Yasmin Rashid, Ijaz Ch, Mehmoodur Rashid indicted in 9 May violence and arson cases

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders Yasmin Rashid, Mehmoodur Rashid and Ijaz Chaudhry Yasmin were indicted in 9 May violence and arson cases.
An anti-terrorism court in Lahore on Tuesday also ordered a jail trial of the accused and directed witnesses to record their statements on the next hearing date.
The accused have been booked by Sarwar Road and Shadman police stations.

On Friday, an anti-terrorism court extended the interim bail of the PTI founder in seven cases related to May 9 vandalism till Feb 3.
A junior of Advocate Salman Safdar appeared before the court of Judge Arshad Javed and informed him that the lawyer was busy in some cases in Islamabad.
The court directed Advocate Safdar to appear before it on Saturday and adjourned the hearing.
