Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid tests positive for COVID-19

Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad has tested positive for COVID-19, according to a statement released by the Railways Ministry.

“Sheikh Rashid has tested positive for Covid-19 but he’s asymptomatic,” the statement reads.

The statement further added that he has gone into self-isolation and will remain in quarantine for two weeks as per doctors’ advice, it added.

Earlier today, former Prime Minister and leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has tested positive for COVID-19, 

Earlier in the day, PTI MNA Jai Prakash has also tested positive for coronavirus, he attended the National Assembly session last week.
