Ramadan 2021 moon sighted in Pakistan, First Roza will be on 14th April

Ramadan 2021 crescent has been sighted in Pakistan, the first Roza will be on Wednesday 14th April.

The official announcement of moon sighting was made by Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad.

Moon was sighted in various cities of Pakistan, including Hyderabad, Karachi, and Islamabad.

Ruet-e-Hilal Committee held its meeting on Tuesday in Peshawar to sight the crescent moon for the holy month.

Meanwhile, zonal committees from other cities of the country joined the main meeting virtually.

Furthermore, the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), and the Ministry of Science and Technology were also part of the meeting.

Chairman of Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, had earlier said that people will observe the first fast (Roza) and Eid on the same day across the country.
